In November, AdmissionsQuest CEO Mr. Peter Baron visited Ridley and interviewed a number of faculty and students and now the videos are being featured on the site. Congratulations to our competitive athletes and their vocal supporters on a remarkable weekend for Ridley Sport. A combination of our Senior Girls Volleyball, Senior Boys Basketball and Senior Boys Hockey teams had 10 wins and 1 loss in all matches this past weekend. The First Boys Hockey team got things rolling with a 4-1 win Friday night over Appleby College in front of 300 happy Ridleians who also helped to raise more that $2000 for Bethlehem Place projects here in Niagara. Then on Saturday, the First Girls Volleyball team won the silver medal at the 16 team St. Patrick’s invitational tournament in Ottawa (5 wins and 1 loss), and the First Boys Basketball team went undefeated (4-0) to win the inaugural CAIS National Basketball Tournament in Halifax over hometown favourite Halifax Grammar School 77-61.
