Every year on November 11th Canadians pause for a moment of remembrance for the men and women who have served, and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict, and peace. Today, in the Ridley College Memorial Chapel we held two services of remembrance. This afternoon we had the privilege of having three honoured guests in our presence. Mr. Roberts is a British Commander who served during World War II under the Royal Ulster Rifles and landed on D-Day as a paratrooper. Mr. and Mrs. McWilliams came from Maryland to attend the service and to return a piece of Ridley history – a bugle that was dedicated to Lt. William D.P. Jarvis who graduated from Ridley College in 1911 and died in World War I.
